Hiya!  Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read my blog.  My name is Claire and I work as a doctor in Scotland.

I like to think of this blog rather like the lands that revolve every week at the top of the Faraway Tree (one of my favourite childhood books).

Each week will be slightly different but will centre around the things I’m most passionate about: education, healthcare (especially for older people), faith, women in leadership and sparkly stuff.
